Aastra OM XML : Introduction

This driver for Alert lets you send messages to Aastra handsets and DECTs via the TCP/IP interface of the Open Mobility Manager (OMM).

The driver uses OMM Standby mechanisms, offering the possibility of automatically connecting to a backup OMM if the first becomes unavailable.

This limits the time during which the driver cannot communicate.

If the connection to the OMM is lost, you can trigger an alarm in Alert.

Sending messages also allows you to specify which confirmations the operator should send back (none, read, accept alarm, or end problem correction).
