Ascom Myco 3 with AlertMobile

The Ascom Myco 3 phone lets you trigger various PTI alarms directly from the phone.

There are 3 types of alarms:

  • Voluntary
  • Immobility
  • Vertical

Before configuring the phone, you need to install the AlertMobile application (from Play Store or via the APK).

Phone PTI alarm configuration

In order to trigger alarms from your Ascom phone, go to the phone settings and then to "Ascom Settings" :

To use the red button on top of the Ascom Myco 3 telephone to activate the voluntary alarm, proceed as follows:


Then click on "Upper multifunction button":

Then "Long press" :


Finally, enter the parameters as follows:

Setting up an alarm for loss of verticality

To trigger the loss-of-verticality alarm, you need to make a few settings.

In "Ascom Settings", go to "Man-Down & No-movement":


Click on "Man-Down":


Set Detection time to 5s to trigger the "Verticlité" alarm countdown in AlertMobile if the person is lying down for at least 5s:

 

Immobility alarm set-up

To trigger the immobility alarm, you need to make a few settings.

In "Ascom Settings", go to "Man-Down & No-movement":


Click on "No-movement":


Set Detection time to 5s to trigger the "Immobility" alarm countdown in AlertMobile if the person does not move for at least 5s:


The phone is now configured to use AlertMobile.

Alarm triggering

To trigger the "Voluntary" alarm, simply press the red button on top of the phone for a few seconds.

For "Immobility" and "Verticality" alarms, go to AlertMobile, "Security" tab, and click on the corresponding buttons to start detecting the 2 different alarms.
