BACnet: Data Server Configuration

In order to access BACnet Tags, it is necessary to declare a data server / Bacnet Equipment in ALERT.

Adding a Bacnet data server:

In ALERT tree, do a right click on "Acquisition" or "Data Servers" and select "Add a data server":

The data server selection windows is displayed:

Into the "Type" drop-down list select "BACnet":

Click on the "Source" button:

Click on the "OK" button to add a BACnet network:

If the server hosting ALERT has only one network card, a broadcast discovery of the "BAC 0" network will be done through this one:

If no equipment is displayed, the configuration of the BACnet network must be modified, click on the following link to find out what to do:

Select the BACnet device to be interrogated:

Click on the "OK" button:

BACnet equipment is added to the ALERT tree structure.
