eMessage: Generic Script / eMessage driver configuration

1. Activate eMessage driver

To activate the eMessage driver, please read the Adding a new driver section of this FAQ : Driver's FAQ: how to add a communication driver by selecting the Script.dll driver, Script Driver.

Once the driver is in the list of drivers in the Activate a communication driver window, select the eMessage driver (1) and click on the Activate button (2).


2. eMessage driver configuration

Once the eMessage driver is in the list, you can display its properties.


1 : The Properties button displays the message processor window and eMessage script properties.

2 : If you don't need to acknowledge the call when a message is received on your pagers, you should also check the Automatic call acknowledge option.

3 : You can format your messages by defining a header for alarms and messages (service message, return to normal and acknowledgement).

4 : The traces button is used to activate driver traces in a file or in a traces window.

Confirm with OK.

You then need to configure users using the Emessage driver as follows
