PcVue Web Service setup (for Micromedia VMs) 🔒

PcVue installation

The installation directory is "\srv-file\Support\SCADA\PcVue\setup PCVUE 15".

Start setup :

Then let the installation run to completion.

Note: To import a PcVue project (e.g. the "Test" project), copy it into the "C:\ARC InformatiquePcVue 15\USR" directory. When PcVue is launched, it will then appear in the project selection to be opened.

Back end connection configuration

Launch PcVue Application Explorer:

Select Back ends then Create a new back end:

Alias = the one configured in the PcVue project (e.g. "CoreBackEnd01" in our Test project).

Web Server" installation :

Perform the default installation of "Web Deployment Tools" :

Once installation is complete, launch the Web Deployment Console (WDC) installed on your PC:

Follow these steps:

WDC consists of two parts:

- Web servers": Used to configure and display the web server and deployed applications.

- "Back ends": Used to configure and display the connection to the PcVue back end.

For your information, the WDC verifies the installation of IIS (mandatory) at startup.

 

 

Note: To check that the installation has worked, launch a web page with the machine's IP address followed by "WebClient".

Example : « https://192.168.38.109/WebClient/ »

For your information, user IDs can be configured at the PcVue user level:
