How to do if the following message appears during install:

 

This error occurs because an OPC server (or OPC client) is running on the machine at the time of installation.

ALERT tries to access OPCEnum.exe in read/write mode to retrieve version and update it if necessary.

Solution :

• Stop all OPC servers/clients before installing ALERT.
• Click on the "Ignore" button to continue the install. OPCEnum being already on the PC, it will work.
